Next we need to make the duct. We started out by cutting out the two plywood circles for the forms to keep the duct round. First we made a compuse and drew out a 60 1/4" circle.

Then we made a compuse for are router. We use the router to cut these circles because it is much faster and easyier to cut them then the way the plans say, and they also come out just about perfect.

Here is my dad and I standing next two the first circle we cut out.

Here are both circles held together by the 2x4 spacers.

Next we had to wrap the plywood around the form for the inside of the duct.

The next thing we needed to do was cut out the foam for the duct. Since we didn't have enough room to cut out in our garage we went back up to the fire house. This is a picture of the compuse we made to mark the arc of foam.

Here is a shoot from the balcony.

Here we have the arc marked out on the foam.

Then we took the foam home and cut the arc out and we also cut it to the write length.

Then we had to glass the out side of it so that it will bend without breaking after we shape it.
