Here is our roll of 18ox skirt material, I think we ordered 12 yards.

Here it is rolled out, we went up to the fire house again because we didn't have enough room in our garage.

Here are all of the parts cut out and ready to be glued together.

Here we have almost all of the screws in the outer skirt attachment strip. First we lined up the 3' marks on the skirt with the 3' marks on the hovercraft then put the screws in them, then we started filling in between them.

Next we started to put the screws in the bottom.

Here is the skirt screwed onto the inner tack strip every three feet.

Here we have all the screws in the bottom.

Here is the skirt screwed onto the rear inside tack strip.

Hee we have the skirt completely on and we are blowing it up with a leaf blower to see how it looks.

When we blew it up it had a couple of wrenkles that we might have to work out but we won't be sure untill we get it on the ground and hovering. Go back to my main UH-18sp page.
