We made the seat top/belt cover 1 1/2" wider than what the plans said and put a 3/4"x3/4" strip down the sides of it because we didn't like the way they had the seat made. On the plans the top was screwed to the sides and then the cushion went over top of that and to take the seat top off you would have to rip off the cushion. Se we decided to make the seat the way we did and then put the cushion on it and it would then drop over top of the side walls and we can screw it on from the side and it will be easy to take off.

We painted it brown because it won't ever be seen after we put the cushion on it so we didn't want to waste our nice blue or yellow paint for it.

We made the piece of the seat with that has the control stick going threw it seperate so we could take it off if we had any steering or throttle cables problems we wouldn't have a to take the entire seat off. Also this piece won't have a cushion on it, I think were going to paint it blue.
